About Amanda Knox

Exoneree, journalist, and New York Times bestselling author Amanda Knox spent four years in an Italian prison and eight years on trial for a murder she didn鈥檛 commit. The scandal made headlines for nearly a decade, as Amanda 鈥� dubbed 鈥淔oxy Knoxy鈥� 鈥� was exploited by the media and judged by the masses on a global scale. Though she was exonerated by Italy鈥檚 highest court, she was sentenced to life by the court of public opinion, forever branded as a killer despite her innocence. About the Wolfson Speaker Series

The Wolfson Speaker Series, now in its third year, is an annual event that hosts prominent speakers from across the globe to gather and engage our community around significant and relevant issues.

The series is named in honor of Richard Wolfson, a longtime member of the Bristol Community College Foundation Board of Directors and supporter of the College. When an endowed fund established in his honor could no longer serve its original purpose, Mr. Wolfson recommended that an annual event featuring world-renowned speakers be created to provide an enriching opportunity to our community.
